In this video, we'll look at pydantic-settings - a small extension to Pydantic that enables you to define Settings classes that are capable of reading from the OS environment or dotenv files, and ensuring type-safety with a wide-variety of Python and Pydantic types. This includes Network Types for connection strings to commonly used services such as PostgreSQL, Redis, MySQL, Kafka, Snowflake and more.
